Call for Abstracts

The deadline for abstract submission is April 25, 2023. For all related information, please follow the Abstract Submission Guidelines on the congress website eanm23.eanm.org. Authors will be notified about the acceptance of abstracts by e-mail on June 21, 2023.

Cancellation & Insurance

Conference Cancellation or Postponement

The EANM accepts no liability if an event is cancelled or postponed for reasons beyond its reasonable control resulting from an act of God, governmental regulation, fire, war, terrorist activity or civil commotion. If the EANM elects to re-schedule the conference, all registrations and additional items are automatically rolled over to the new dates of the conference. If the EANM elects to cancel the event, the liability is limited to a refund of registration costs, subject to fees and conditions. The EANM will not refund any travel costs associated with the cancellation of the event. Accommodation pre-payments will be refunded subject to the terms and conditions of the hotel.

Insurance

Delegates are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The EANM accepts no responsibility or liability against cancellations of bookings, loss or inconvenience or theft/damage of belongings.

As an additional service, the EANM offers the possibility to contract (during online registration) personal cancellation insurance. The cancellation insurance offered by ‘Europäische Reiseversicherung’ covers up to 100% of your registration fees and hotel cancellation fees in the event of your cancellation for any cause provided in the insurance terms.

Certificate of Attendance

Certificates of Attendance will be available in your myEANM-Area after submission of the overall EANM Congress evaluation.

Closing Ceremony & Farewell Cocktail

All registered delegates and accompanying persons are cordially invited to the
Closing Ceremony & Farewell Cocktail Wednesday, September 13, 2023 – 11:25-12:15
The Closing Ceremony will be held at Hall A in the ACV – Austria Center Vienna – and the
subsequent Farewell Cocktail in the Foyers of Level 2 (red level).

CME Credits & Certificates

To acquire CME credits, attendees are required to scan their congress badge upon their first arrival at the congress venue as well as upon entrance into each CME session. For CME sessions, an evaluation form for each session attended, as well as the overall congress evaluation, must be completed. CME Sessions will be streamed live and are also available on demand after the Congress.

Congress App

The EANM will again provide a Congress App in 2023, which will include all relevant scientific information. Further details will be released closer to the congress start.

Covid-19 Safety Protocol

The entrance rules will be handled according to the national requirements in Vienna in September 2023. Currently, Austria has no restrictions regarding congress attendance.

Congress Bag

The EANM decided not to offer congress bags anymore following your requests in the survey for more sustainability.

Congress e-Poster Area

Every year, the e-Poster Area allows you to see all uploaded e-Posters of EANM’23. You can search for authors, topics and keywords.

Congress Language

The congress language is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

Congress Self Check-In

Self Check-In stations will help you to collect your name badge without waiting in queues. Please make sure to bring your QR code and a personal ID and visit our Self Check-In stations in the EANM Registration Area (Entrance level).

Congress Venue

The ACV is within 2 minutes of walking distance from the metro station Kaisermühlen VIC, right behind the Vienna International Center and United Nations headquarters. The metro line U1 (red line) is the only one connecting the city centre with the ACV.

The Members’ Assembly will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 08:00 to 11:00. Please note: Only EANM members in good standing (having paid their membership dues for the year 2023) are eligible to attend the Members’ Assembly.

e-Poster Area

The e-Poster Area gives you the opportunity to check all digital e-Posters at dedicated working stations.

Insurance & Liability

Neither the organisers nor the Conference Bureau will assume any responsibility for damage or injury to persons or property during the Congress. It is recommended that participants arrange for their personal travel and health insurance.

International Meetings & Announcement Board

Visit the International Meetings and Announcement Board in the EANM’23 exhibition to get information on upcoming events in Nuclear Medicine and more.

Internet Corner

Internet access and limited printing possibilities will be provided at stations within the industry exhibition. Please limit the viewing time to max. 5 minutes per person.

Job Board

Visit the Job Board in the EANM’23 exhibition to find the newest job inserts related to the Nuclear Medicine field.

Lost and Found

A lost and found service will be provided at the EANM registration desk for the duration of the congress.

Medical Facilities

Medical assistance and ambulance service will be available throughout the congress.

Media

By attending the event, each participant acknowledges and agrees to grant the EANM the right at the Congress to record, film, photograph or capture the likeness of such participant and its representatives in any media now available and in the future developed and to use, copy, modify, distribute, broadcast or otherwise disseminate at any time and on a global basis such media, without any further approval from or payment to such participant or any of its representatives.

Museums

There are many different museums in Vienna. For prices, opening hours and current Covid-19 regulations, please refer to the hotel reception or any tourist information.

Name Badges

Badges for the congress will be issued on-site between September 09 and September 13, 2023. The badges must be collected in person. A confirmation e-mail, including a QR code, will be issued upon successful completion of registration. With this QR, along with a valid photo ID, the name badge can be printed onsite in the registration area.

Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception

All registered delegates and accompanying persons are cordially invited to the Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 18:00–21:45. The Opening Ceremony, including the Highlights Lecture, will be held in the Hall A/B/C of the ACV – Austria Center Vienna – and the subsequent Welcome Reception will be in the Foyers on Level 2 (red level).

Parking

Private cars can be parked at additional cost in the parking areas of the Austria Center Vienna. The costs for a day are € 15,00 for one day, € 25,00 for two days, € 35,00 for three days or € 45,00 for a week pass. Further information can be found on the website of the ACV: www.acv.at

Public Transportation Ticket

In Vienna, no complimentary or reduced Public Transportation Tickets can be offered. You can buy the tickets either on the “Wiener Linien” homepage online or at ticket machines, which can be found in each metro station in Vienna. Please find further information at https://www.wienerlinien.at/web/wl-en/tickets.

Please note that this ticket is non-refundable, and neither ENITED nor EANM is responsible for the purchase of public transport tickets. All enquiries should be directed to the municipal public transport provider Wiener Linien.

All foreign visitors entering Austria must possess valid passports. For citizens from the European Union Member countries, a valid identity card is sufficient.

All registered congress participants with a completed/paid registration can download a visa invitation letter within their myEANM-Area!
